Taekwondo has roots in Buddhist philosophy. Meditation and mindfulness have been shown to be powerful tools towards achieving emotional and mental balance and control. Studies have shown that meditation helps in managing the effects of certain learning challenges such as ADHD, especially when both the parent and child practice.
