Tiger Martial Arts includes a program of physical health, mental and emotional wellness, and physical fitness. When an athlete has these attributes, they can begin to unlock their potential and productivity.


Health is achieved through good life habits, including: nutrition, sleep, and avoidance of recreational drugs and alcohol.

Taekwondo has roots in Buddhist philosophy. Meditation and mindfulness have been shown to be powerful tools towards achieving emotional and mental balance and control. Studies have shown that meditation helps in managing the effects of certain learning challenges such as ADHD, especially when both the parent and child practice. Our classes often start or finish with a brief meditation.
